Introduction
The Challenge: Clarity in Politics: Ewan Corinaldesi is running for mayor of Roquefort-les-Pins in 2026. In local elections, the biggest hurdle isn't just having good ideas, it's getting those ideas across clearly. He needed a platform that felt personal, professional, and accessible to every generation of voter.
The Solution: I designed and built choisirroquefort.fr as the central hub for his campaign. It’s more than just a biography; it’s a living manifesto designed to present his team, his vision, and his program without the visual clutter often found in political sites.
Design & Branding
From Logo to Design System: The campaign team provided a logo, but they needed a full digital identity. I expanded their existing branding into a cohesive UI system.
- Trust-First UI: I prioritized whitespace and legible typography to ensure the candidate's message was easy to read, whether for a first-time voter or a senior citizen.
- Navigation Strategy: The site structure is intentionally flat. I wanted voters to find the "Project" (Program) and "Team" sections in a single click, reducing friction between interest and information.
Webflow Development
Built for Agility & Action: A political campaign needs to move fast and capture momentum.
- Autonomy (CMS): I built custom back-end collections for News and Team Members, allowing the staff to publish updates instantly without needing to touch a line of code.
- Fundraising Integration: I seamlessly integrated Donorbox to handle campaign donations. This turned the site into a secure fundraising tool, allowing supporters to contribute in seconds without navigating away from the branded experience.
Service & Support
Reliable Post-Launch Care: I don't just deliver the code and disappear. I treat ongoing support as a standard part of my service.
Although the site is designed for autonomy, I remain fully available to assist the team. Whether they face a technical hurdle or need urgent help with a specific update, they know they can call me and get a quick resolution.
Responsive Experience
Campaigning in Your Pocket: Knowing that most constituents would access the site via social media links on their phones, I adopted a mobile-first approach.
The site is fully responsive, ensuring that long-form text (like the manifesto) remains readable on small screens, and the "Join the Committee" CTA is always within thumb's reach.
Impact
A Professional Standard & Search Dominance: The website establishes immediate credibility. By moving away from generic templates, the campaign signals that they are serious, organized, and ready to lead.
The results speak for themselves: the site has achieved an average Google Search position of 2.8, with a massive 41.3% Click-Through Rate. This ensures that when voters search for local issues, they find the candidate's official platform first not rumors or news snippets.
